At ByteZero, we believe in transparency and fairness. Refunds are available for all proxy types and plans if the conditions outlined in this policy are met. We strive to build trust and ensure fairness while remaining open to evaluating individual cases for exceptions when appropriate.
2. Refund Eligibility & Timeframe
To be eligible for a refund, your request must meet the following criteria:
- Data Usage: Your bandwidth usage must not exceed 1GB.
- Time Limit: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date for all plan types (bandwidth-based and unlimited).
- Exclusions: The following are not eligible for a refund:
- Special offers, such as "$0.99/GB" promotions.
- 1GB proxy packages.
ByteZero reserves the right to deny refunds at its discretion if eligibility criteria are not met.
3. How Refunds Are Issued
Important: Refunds are not processed back to the original method of payment.
Instead, any refundable amount is credited directly to your ByteZero account balance. This balance can be used toward future purchases of our services. This approach is aligned with industry best practices for top-up balance models, ensuring that every dollar is reinvested into your ongoing service experience.
4. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund, please contact our support team via our support portal or by emailing us directly. Once your request is verified against our usage criteria, eligible refunds are credited to your ByteZero account balance within 5-7 business days. In exceptional cases, processing may take slightly longer.
5. Abuse of Services
ByteZero reserves the right to reject any refund request if it suspects abuse of its services. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Submitting multiple refund requests for the same or similar services.
- Misuse or exploitation of the refund policy.
- Any other reason deemed reasonable and accompanied by an explanation from ByteZero.

While our refund guidelines provide clear thresholds, we understand that individual circumstances may require special consideration. If your case does not neatly fit these criteria, please reach out to our support team for a personalized review.
